Developing activities with refugee guides and family contacts

The County Administrative Board can provide compensation for integration efforts that facilitate establishment in society, create networks, support language learning or offer social support to unaccompanied children.

The e-services and forms of the County Administrative Board in this field are not available in English. If you wish to submit an application or notification, you may contact the County Administrative Board, which can inform you how to proceed.

The County Administrative Board is able to provide compensation to strengthen and develop activities with refugee guides and family contacts aimed at newly arrived persons, unaccompanied children and persons seeking asylum.

We provide compensation for activities organised by the municipality single-handedly or in cooperation with one or multiple organisations.

The efforts must aim:

  • facilitate establishment in society,
  • create networks,
  • support language learning,
  • offer social support to unaccompanied children.

Target groups for the activities

The activities shall aim at newly arrived persons and/or persons seeking asylum. Unaccompanied children, which are seeking asylum or have been granted a residence permit, are also a part of this target group. An activity can aim at one or multiple target groups.

The activities can be aimed towards persons fleeing from Ukraine and who are covered by the Temporary Protection Directive.

Reporting

Activities granted funding shall be reported in interim and final reports, which are to be submitted to the County Administrative Board.
