This is where we describe what content that is not accessible

  • Forms on the website do not provide preview before submission.
  • Some videos on the website lack subtitles and visual interpretation.

The search function

The search function on the website has several accessibility deficiencies that make it difficult for assistive devices to understand certain purposes and functions. Dialogue is ongoing with our supplier Sitevision to remedy these deficiencies.

Interactive maps on the pages under Besöksmål

The interactive map on all pages under the heading Besöksmål and “Sök via kartan” under the tab Besöksmål is not accessible. The County Administrative Board is working on upgrading the map and the deficiencies in accessibility. It is work that is estimated to take place during the years 2022-2024.

  • Images in the map lack alt text.
  • The functions of the map are not accessible with a keyboard.
  • The interactive buttons, for example to zoom in the map or use the inventory list, are missing or have incorrect roles, which means that reading aids do not perceive the functionality of the map correctly.
  • In the function “Lagerlista”, in the dialog “Sök via kartan”, the search field lacks a visible text or filling instructions in addition to placeholders.
  • In the feature “Lagerlista” of the map, many compontens lack machine-readable roles, and where applicable, values.
  • At 200% text size, the headings in the “Lagerlista”, “Teckenförklaring” and “Om kartan” windows do not fit in the grey background, therefore most of the text becomes white against white.

Image carousel

On some pages there is an images carousel to alternately display images.

  • The small circles at the bottom of the image carousel are not perceived by reading aids.

The County Board's supplier, Sitevision, will remedy this deficiency in a future update of the website.
